The change log exists in earlier versions as well but must be activated in
the Business Activity Manager in the Utilities menu. I think it was
introduced in 5.1. However use it with caution! Select logging only for
those entries you are truly interested in. The associated horror story with
that is that a Vantage user activated change logs for all fields and in a
couple of days the database grew from a few Megs to multiple Gigs!

Sure, if your using 8.01 there is a Change Log Viewer, this will
document the date and who created the new record, even if there is not a
revision created.

Does anyone know if there is a way to identify who setup a new part
number in Vantage and the date it was setup? This would just be a part
number entry without a revision.
