No. I (we) did request and discuss it, but whether that is actually on the roadmap, I cannot speak to.
Event logs would be more useful than being able to do a regen…

Make sure you check this post for ease of use, there is a modification in it, that is not in the files further up.

Yes I have tried this out in the past, works nicely. There should be something built in to get event logs instead of having to do this by now.
