I have been using free Seagate Analysis for a little while now and they have
a "stock" set of BackOffice reports which includes hooks to Exchange and
Lotus. Included are "top email senders" and "top receivers" as well as
storage usage. There are also some Crystal example reports around to use
Exchange tracking logs. So far I have not had to buy anything to get basic
levels of usage info. If I tried modifying the sotkc reports I could
probably get totals for "sender" on received message and "Send to" on sent
messages and track who the top users are communicating with (business or
not).

I got the Seagate Analysis on a free CD about a year ago but I think it
might still be available via download at their site. Try

Back when I was inquiring about the EBI module someone had mentioned this
for use with Vantage. It took me about 10 minutes to create a bar chart of
# of customers by state. Very slick.
