Open With... a report?

I made a report. It works. Good for me.

Can I open it from a context menu (the “open with” menu)?

It’s based on a BAQ and has parameters, including on OrderNum. (Thanks Haso, et al)

I’d like to open it from, say, Order Entry.

My report does have a menu ID. When I add that to context menu maintenance, it does open the screen, but the print preview button is grayed out (they all are, actually), so that’s mighty worthless.

Any thoughts?

I’ll get you started: why do I always post stuff on Friday afternoons and expect people to still be reading this?

Did you figured out the solution for this issue, i am in the same boat

Sorry I did not.

Did you map the BAQ Report to a menu path? I have done it with several reports and it works just like you’d expect.

Hey,
BAQ report works fine, but this is an report data definition (advance type) report, where the database added there is an BAQ, and over there i added criteria filters for the report as well. This seems to only happen when i try to call context menu open with for those type of reports. And i cannot use BAQ report for my solution, as i have multiple BAQ added to report data def and have an relationship between each to pull data in one report. Epicor ticket is opened though, but not much response received yet, seems they are still looking it for me.

OK. I don’t think I’ve tried to do a context menu with a RDD report. Just to make sure we’re on the same page… you’ve mapped your RDD report to a menu location, referenced that location in the Context Menu maintenance, and then it opens but doesn’t allow you to print it?

Yes sir, correct
