OT - Holding emails with attachments

I don't think so with just Exchange 5.5. We ended up buying Symantec AV Exchange Filtering (for Exchange 2000). It traps bad attachments in a quarantine area that then gets flushed every 2 weeks (our choice of period). Very easy to restore quarantined items such as .exe files from customers.

Is there any way to set up Exchange 5.5 so that any files received
that have certain extensions can be held somewhere until they are
verified? Currently they are all being deleted.
