I'm assuming I need to study up on policies under Win 2003 server active
directory. I didn't know it could do that.

Paul,
If I understand your question correctly I would recommend using Group
Policies to lock down the Win2K and XP desktops to the user. We use this for
our plant floor workstations. They can only access the data collection short
cut on the desktop and that's it...everything else is disabled.

We are starting the process of evaluating software to limit access to
Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro desktops. It's getting to the point we
must only allow users access to certain programs, etc. We have never had
to
do this before and it's hard to establish a market leader in this area.
Any
information would be helpful at this point.
Thanks
