OT: Multidimensional arrays in Crystal Reports 8.5

I have read somewhere that it clearly doesn't support multidimensional
arrays. However, if you have an array with a fixed size you could work
around it. I also wish sub reports were recursive but they only call them
selves I think 1 level deep.

You might try searching the Business Objects knowledge base. A few years
back I download a white paper titled: Advanced Reporting Techniques Using
Arrays. It contains information on Dynamic Arrays, and also looping through
a multiple value parameter. Not certain if either of these are what you mean
by multi-dimensional?

Sorry for the off topic post, but this has been driving crazy.

Is it possible to use multidimensional arrays in crystal? I need to do
some pretty complex summaries, and a multidimensional array would be
perfect for capturing the data at the detail level.

Thank you,

That is what I was afraid of. Guess I will have to work on
conditionally adding to an array and just have about 20 different
arrays.

Anyone know if they added this feature to a newer version? Of course I
could always use .NET and VB...
