OT - Sort of - Purchase Order Requistion Software

'People who don't have access to Vantage' are typically making Misc expense purchases... Why not eliminate the req/PO entirely (and make your accounting people happy) by providing these people with credit limited AMEX cards? Then a once month billing review (5-10 minutes) can give accouting the info needed to shuttle off expenses to the right g/l accounts.

??

Hi,

I have been tasked to look at our excel worksheets based process and suggest/provide a more system approach. I don't think that the requisition process in vantage is suitable and also people who don't have access to vantage need to raise requisitions. I am looking for advice / knowledge on any third party products which may do the job. My initial thoughts was to have something in our sharepoint intranet site. Connect to vantage to pull suppliers etc and may be push back in UD tables. I have no experience of sharepoint etc so don't know how feasible it would be. I have managed to create a simple app that uses the webservices to pull data but haven't been able to put into sharepoint. To be honest it was web based then that would probably be ok. Programming is not my strongest point by far.

Thanks in advance.
