Subject: [Vantage] OT Video Conference

Looking for a cheap easy to implement "video conferencing solution". I
know you can do this for free with AIM. It let's you use your web cam
and speak or type between two clients. It's free aside from the cost of
the web cam and your broadband account. Anyone have any other
suggestions? This is more for personal use rather than business use so
it does not have to be the highest quality solution, most elegant
solution. Just simple and reliable on both ends.

Thanks

Todd,
Yahoo has the same (messenger). It's as reliable as the computer on either
end.
The camera makes a world of difference in the quality.
I love the Creative web cam I got a while back.
I use it for several applications including my two stepsons talking to their
natural father several hundred miles away.
Good luck,
Aaron Hoyt

Logitech has a webphone application that is bundled with most if not all of
their webcams. It seems to do a little better job correcting for sound and
lighting issues than the varieties available from the usual suspects.
