We have a relatively fat pipe coming into HQ (eight mb,) but I've had
participants with consumer DSL (and me, from home on Comcast Cable IP) and
the quality has been reported as excellent for those clients as well.

There is a hosted (which we used) as well as a private option (you run the
server, you're responsible for provisioning appropriate network/hardware,
etc.)

about it.

Is anyone using this and which company are you using? Who have you had
problems with?

Coincidentally, we just did a quickie eval of Adobe/Macromedia's Breeze -- It is a fantastic IP conferencing product with EXCELLENT video quality (which is our main driver...we don't do a lot of ppt, whiteboard, polls, etc.)

The integration with the teleconferencing provider (Global Premiere Services) is really slick, too....If you have the URL, you can join the conference -- Then, rather than futz with bull$#!t moderator/participant codes, you simply select yourself from the attendee list and have the system call YOU at the number you provide. The rates are VERY VERY competitive ($0.06 USD/min US-Canada, $0.12 USD/min UK w/ local UK dial-in, etc.)

You can try it all for free, including the con-call stuff (we have never bothered with pure IP voice, etc. a false economy at $0.03/$0.06/min in our estimation given vagaries and added complexity...particularly when we have a roomful of execs trying to make something happen...) Trial it here: http://www.macromedia.com/breeze

Lastly, we've been through the gamut of *IP* (H.323, H.464, etc) conferencing stuff. This is the best, by far, of the items we've used. We're switching from WebEx Enterprise and Radvision's Click-to-Meet. Oh, it's multi-platform, too.
