Can anyone tell me where the fields from the Part table PartLength, PartWidth, and PartHeight are used? I saw a screenshot once that had an attributes tab, but I don’t know how to get that to show up (we are on 10.0 right now). Are those fields just there for future use? Will I break anything by creating a customization and using them?
I don’t think I have ever seen these fields by default. I could be mistaken, but in E10 I haven’t seen them under Part Setup or any other usual place. We just created three custom fields and made the EpiBinding the Length, Width, and Height from the Part Table on Part Setup.
The fields become viewable in 10.1 with the attributes tab.
Before that you’d have to add custom fields and set the bindings to them, you won’t break a thing.
That’s 10.1 right? Is there a module needed for that screen or does it just show up with the upgrade?
Yes, 10.1.400.26. I think it just shows up in 10.1; I do not believe there
is a module needed.
