PO Action Messages

Would love to hear more about it when you get it going. I can't believe this has existed all along?

Thanks!

Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.

We are struggling with action messages for both quantity and required date.

Presently, For parts with more than one PO, or more than one PO line, the messages for the second delivery can be misleading, as they are predicated on executing the action message to increase or decrease the quantity on the prior delivery.

“Locking” the PO line only generates a planned PO with a due date either in the past or for delivery far sooner than a supplier can deliver.

Can we “lock” the quantity, and use the PO action messages for timing only?

If not, are there any other recommendations?

We have the same issue, and I understand many users desire this
feature. We have contracted Epcior to mod PO suggestions, to
eliminate changes in PO quantities, but allow moves, and cancellation
suggestions. We have also requested an enhancment in the future,
that would allow you to lock PO quantites, and or Dates, as Jobs can
be presently. Won't hold my breath............
