have you tried increasing days of supply on the part to get one suggestion? Or put a min order qty which will then make the other suggestions not be needed. You can also use multiples with the minimums to force orders to be in the discount quantities. The MfgLotMultiple field is on the Part > Plant > Planning Tab, but the MRP guide shows it also applies to purchase suggestions.

By design, the application will create multiple releases for one single part if you group multplie PO suggestions and Buy them at once.
Application won't group all the quantities suggested in one release, it will create one release per suggestion.
Scenario1.- 1 part number, 3 PO Suggestions.
Part Number: "A"
PO Sugg1: 30 pcs
PO Sugg2: 10 pcs
PO Sugg3: 40 pcs
If you check the Buy checkbox in PO Sugg1, PO Sugg2 and PO Sugg3, then generate the PO, the Application will generate a PO for part A in line 1, and 3 different releases, R1 for 30 pcs, R2 for 10 pcs and R3 for 40 pcs.
But we wanted to group all the release together, so we deleted the releases except for 1 and added to qty to that one release. Po suggestion then asked us to buy more even thou it was already on a PO
We get Discounts for ordering over a certain Qty and won't get it if we do releases to our vendors. Is there a best practice for this?
