PreProcessValidate takes over 5 mins when we split a job in kinetic,
Can we diagnose and reduce the time?
If you have serverlogs then you can put them into PDT to analyze where the issue might be. It could also just be sql maintenance related.

I would also review the install and the Admin guides if you need some basic stuff. There is also a performance guide as well the help in the PDT

Try removing from the schedule before splitting, so it is only working materials and not also operations.

Ok, my last grasp is to try the split in the classic client to see if is something in the new UX that is different.
