Priority Dispatch Report

Patrick,
Do you have a report that you have already done that you can post?

To make your own priority dispatch report in report builder you can do the
following:
Use the JobOper table as the master table.
Make a variable that is equal to the job operation sequence minus 10.
Use the variable and join to the JobOper table with the alias of JobOper2.
This is implying that you keep your routings sequenced by 10's.
Added operations will have to be picked up by another report.
Filter on JobOper for the workcenter your checking on.
Create variables on the report check JobOper2 examples.
If prior operation is complete mark as "Current Work".
If any setup or production labor or pieces mark as "Expected".
You can go beyond their standard report.
If half the pieces are produced using 90 percent of the production hours
mark as "Warning job running slow!"

Subject: [Vantage] Priority Dispatch Report

I have a question about the Priority Dispatch Report. The canned report
doesnt sort by highest priority so you have to wade through the whole
thing to see what is ranked immediate. It is sorting by start date
instead of priority ranking. I called vantage tech who are looking into
it but I havent recieved a response back. Has anyone else ran into this
or have a custom written report that I could use in its place? We are on
rev level 3.00.627.

TIA
