So reported it and it was rejected?
I can’t remember. There are a lot of issues accepted with no ETA. A lot of issues development is still reviewing (for months or years). A lot of issues I simply don’t report because I don’t have time to do a 2 hour webex to show support how to reproduce it.
Having spent a bit of time here, I can tell you I would 100 times over choose the BAQ Designer (even the Kinetic one) over Generic Inquiries.
Fair point on the strategic layout of it though.
If I havent said it lately, we all appreciate the hell out of you being here!
With a little refactoring… that .net 4.5 could move to modern .net, which runs almost everywhere.
+1 to what @Chris_Conn said, we appreciate all the Epicor employees who come here to EpiUsers.
FWIW, one reason this happens, is when your gridModel.columns has some cols not in your BAQ. Like if you put the BAQ on a gridView.BAQOptions.
Case point:
Little? WinForms uses Windows graphics libraries, and I don’t think those can run on Mac or Linux. Could be wrong.
Not iOS or Android tablets though…
W A S M ? ![]()
Correct on WinForms - it was ported but is under platform specific code for Windows only. I imagine they would have to license yet another UI frontend to replace the outdated Infragistics version.
This would be a monumental refactor which would almost certainly have problems like Kinetic has faced in the last 5 years.
This 100% is the main issue all my users have. We navigate classic via keyboard. Now we have to use the mouse. If a dialog box pops up, put the flipping cursor in it. If I press enter, flipping accept my input!
Thanks for mentioning this. I had no idea but just figured out how to do it!

Yes! Thank you for being here, @Olga
Wow.
LEFT OUTER JOIN of OrderHed to OrderDtl where PARTNUM = ‘zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz’ (guaranteeing NULL results from OrderDtl):
Classic:
Kinetic:
That is bad.
See this is what I am saying. It is so very confusing when trying to validate the query structure to see records that literally DO NOT EXIST. Maybe need to explain this to Epicor developers.
At least they aren’t using -1. I see some developers do this instead of just making the type nullable.
@aosemwengie1, that is probably the MOST BRILLIANT graphic I have seen. Ever. Anywhere.
Memory Manager?
