I better clarify….we currently have data in these types of fields but the whole customization is in Job Entry.

We wanted to move this “sheet” over to Project Entry and modify the fields in Project instead of in the Job mostly because it is the project managers and engineering that update this information.

Quick question, are the UD fields available to add to the new sheet? You know, JobHead.Number01, etc? As I was going through the video it did not look like they would be available….

Yes "everything" is possible, it just depends on how much effort (read money) you want to put into it. You can bring a data view for the jobs into the Project easy enough. Bu to make those views editable you'll have to do some trickery which is fairly advanced. But in short yes it can be done though it may require someone with some epicor coding experience

Anyone using Projects in Epicor ever create a new tab under Jobs, for instance?  I want to set up some fields based on a job associated in Project and fill out the new sheet.  Yes we will have multiple jobs.

Is this possible?  If I try to do it through the sheet wizard, it does not look like it is possible!

If you wait a little while it should show up in HD where you can actually read the stuff I am clicking / doing.

Exact version in Subject line!

In Project Entry (and then of course in Project tracker), when I click on the Jobs tab, I want an Engineering Status tab, so that if I have three jobs associated to the project (job # 123, 456, 789)Â when I pick one of these jobs, my Status page reflect information for that job.Â

I hope that makes sense. Otherwise we can always chat on this! I appreciate your help, Jose!

Quick question, are the UD fields available to add to the new sheet?  You know, JobHead.Number01, etc?  As I was going through the video it did not look like they would be available….

I better clarify….we currently have data in these types of fields but the whole customization is in Job Entry.

We wanted to move this “sheet” over to Project Entry and modify the fields in Project instead of in the Job mostly because it is the project managers and engineering that update this information.
