Prorest[6.1]

I followed Answerbook article: 3744MPS
Although I did have some issues with natching the DB name (as created in Progress Explorer) and the database I restored to. But in my case I was restoring to a completely seperate drive from my production DB. I think the instructions themselves are pretty clear for normal uses. But one of the things they have you do is a DB copy from the training database to setup the DB files that you will later restore over.

The mfgsys.d1 does not exist in the directory -- Does it have to be? I
thought the prorest would create it.

I was just giving an example structure....replace my directory listing with
your test database directory. You have to create a location of at least two
levels: i.e. E:\Epicor\TEST\DB\ in order to restore a live database to a
test area or at least that is how I always have done it.
