Public cloud down for anyone else right now?

Kinetic public cloud is down for us. 502 Bad Gateway. Anyone else seeing the same?

Yes, were down also. I have turned in a support ticket. They just acknowledged it.

yep

Samesies…

Anyone know if it’s related to IdP? We’re getting 502 now, but for a minute could only log in with basic credentials and we can’t login to EpicCare at all with Identity now either to make a case. 504 Gateway Time-out for EpicCare with identity for us.

Azure central us is having issues right now.

Could be related.

Yes its been down for quite awhile and as usual no details provided.

Doesn’t Azure Central automatically failover to the east coast.

We received an incident email fairly soon after.

You would think a total system down lasting 3 hours and counting would deserve more than a single notificatjon containing no detail.

Azure central is so screwed right now, rollovers aren’t working.

Just hope it’s up and running before my employees show up in the morning!

Reported to be resolved. Not in a place to check.

i just dont understand, how is that Epicor wont failover to another datacenter! if azure central is only down, why are we waiting for Microsoft to fix it when we should fail over? we are down 4 hours and counting…

isnt the point of public cloud that we have coverage? my company has to stopped working because of this and we also wont be avle to work this weekend with the upgrade.

is the upgrade still happening tomorrow?

From what I’ve read, the failover infrastructure at azure was not working.

Azure status page says they lost connections between their storage clusters and VMs.

On the Azure status page, Microsoft was tell customers to activate our DR and point to another Datacenter.

So if Epicor cant point to another datacenter, there’s really no redundancy and a major outage to a single datacenter, we are dead in the water?

That’s what they told people. It didn’t work.

Microsoft stupidly has critical infrastructure hosted there too, obviously with poor replication themselves.

Plus, does anyone really know what replication and data recovery plan Epicor has? I don’t, so I really don’t know what kind of service to expect.

That’d be good to know though lol.

Oh and they just sent another email → Not resolved.

I asked them for this, and they told me the servers are replicated in multiple DC so unless there is MAJOR country outage or no internet we would be up.

I understand that Microsoft is the culprit, but Epicor should be testing these scenarios! I better not see the report show 99% uptime this month!

They can just move to AWS.

Then we can be assured that when it goes down, the rest of the internet probably is too…
