Purchasing module error

I get that same error from my part table and it is due to a
customization. We have used one of the number fields to hold a
particular setting. If the data entered has a .00 at the end I get
this error. I then have to go into the table via Access and remove
the number. Then I reenter it via the form. If the number ends
with .xx(anything other than .00) I do not have a problem. This seems
to be because the .00 is dropped off of the entery as soon as we do
an update.

Did you recently upgrade from 8.00 to 8.03. I seem to remember this
same problem around that time.

We upgraded to 404b a while back. This seems to be a very rare problem with us. Manasa, I have tried that already (the refresh and save) - same problem. I requested that the user delete the PO and start over, it was a small PO, so no biggie but had it been a very large and complicated one, I would have had to find a resolution. As soon as epicor tech support lines open up, I will try to get a resolution from them. (PS: they are having phone problems at the call centers today, apperantly some centers are up and running as of now)
