Another thought. Maybe sending an unsubscribe message from his email acocunt (log in as him) to:
vantage-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
might be enough. Since it would be from "him" further validation might not be required.

Yes - this person was in a management position and we need to monitor any
other email he receives - for a while anyway. I thought about making a rule
that would send the emails to a separate folder - do I need to have exchange
to be able to set it to permanently delete them? I would think there should
be a way for the moderator to disable the account....I am hoping anyway.
Thanks Todd!!

Do you still need to see other emails for that person? If not you can
delete the user account or address. Back when our ISP went belly up and we
lost connection for a couple weeks Yahoo got tired of undeliverable messages
and automatically unsubscribed me. Or if you need the account and are using
Outlook/Exchange you could setup a rule to permanently delete anything with
[Vantage] in the subject. At least until you can delete the account.

Hello,
Is there a way to unsubscribe from this list an employee who has left the
company and did not take care of this before they left? We have this
situation here and would like to get the emails to stop for this individual.
I do not know his yahoo ID or password and don't really have a way to get
this information. Any help would be appreciated!!
