When we are freighting from Customer Shipment Entry in Kinetic we somehow keep generating empty containers in Quick Ship and we aren’t sure what the trigger is or why they are empty.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this happens or what I can look into to prevent this?
Epicor assumes every line item is included in each phantom pack. Hence my support for Log In - Epicor Identity
Now, in Epicor you can use Phantom Pack to tell Epicor how many pallets(cartons) you’re shipping in a particular pack slip.This is mostly LTL specific I believe and the limitation above make things… interesting at times. In Help search for “Shipping Phantom Packs” for step by steps. 99.9% you already have the Workstation setup right and creating the pack is normal until you get to the Close phase where you then create the phantoms before freighting.
Today we had a phantom pack shipment for an overnight express mail to a customer… Fedex, couldnt print labels… I went into quickship to see what was going on and i was getting “successful reprint” notifications but each container had a red note that said “no products in container”. Everything looked to be in order… Anyone have any guidance? Thanks in advance. (( Even trying to ship the old school way through fedex itself was failing on multiple workstations… )) Im wondering if this is an epicor issue, quickship issue, or fedex or all 3.
