Quote entry form

Because many of our products have relatively high set-up costs, we can give good quantity breaks, which is what we use the "Quantities" table for. The expected quantity is used for projected revenue so that's what they say they plan to order. For us, most of the time the expected and order quantities are the same, but we might separate them if a customer plans to break the demand out over several POs.

Hi,

I am reviewing the quote entry form in 8.04.409C.
I was just wondering if anybody ever uses different values in the quantity fields & why.

In my case the 3 quantity fields for each line, will always be the same value.
- Order Quantity
- Expected Quantity
- Quantities - Quantity

And... users want the form modified so that they only need enter a value once in Expected Quantity & the other two fields are auto-populated.

Thanks
