Preparing for our Full Physical Inventory and doing some testing in advance. Everything seems to be working as expected, except printing recount tags for variances. In my mind, I would run “Generate Recount Tags” and then I would have the ability to print just tags with variances. I’m not seeing this option. Anyone else run into this? Or am I just missing it?
Any advise you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

My experience is that you first need to post the counts. Then anything out
of tolerance will create a recount tag…

Hi! Are you saying that “Generate Recount Tags” is not even available under the menu? If so, it may be because you have to first print the “Count Variance Calculation/Report”
We spent a great deal of time documenting each of the steps for a Full Physical (there are way too many steps in my opinion, and automating some of these steps may become a future project for us.) If you would like, I can share our procedure.
Very helpful information. I’m now using the Count Variance Calculation Report. I thought that actual new recount tickets might be available to print. It doesn’t appear way.

We conducted our first year end full physical and I was unable to print recount tags - so we just modified the tags to what they should be and then posted. However, I don’t see all the variances posted correctly! So the counts we counted - are not what is now showing as available…???
This is very frustrating - it was such a simple process before.
It sounds like you did not post the good counts before trying to generate
recount tags.
There is a series of short epic web training sessions under the education
area for cycle count. They are on demand and about 15-20 minutes each.

Wouldn’t you post once you have all counts verified? Posting process posts the adjustments.
Thank you Lacey! Those are the steps we followed. After viewing the variance report, we generated recount tags and went to print - nothing prints. I had variance tolerance at 0. Expected recount tags for ANY variance - got nothing. So we used the variance report to go verify counts and updated any corresponding tags accordingly, then posted. All adjustments appeared to post. I don’t understand why it wouldn’t generate recount tags or as someone mentioned above - why you would post, then recount and post again?
