Repetitive production - STD Cost Vantage 8 questions

Vantage gurus,

We currently use Vantage (8.03.407 Progress) with jobs using the "average actual costing" method. I have a mix of products that are truly "job" shop oriented products and then a base of "repetitive production" products. I'd like to switch my repetitive products to the "standard costing" method in order to earn a base level of absorption each month. What do I need to consider in making my changes? Is there such a thing as repetitive production in Vantage? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
