Working with a procurement department who heavily uses the Kinetic RFQ module. We have noticed that RFQ’s created for Material will satisfy the demand and prevent new suggestions from populating. However, the same is not the case with Subcontract suggestions. RFQ’s are created and executed the same as Materials and New PO Suggestions for those SC ops still generate.
I have tried to enter the SC RFQ’s several ways, generated new suggestions at every phase of the SC RFQ process, but have not been successful in identifying a solution or the “Why” behind this. If anyone has a solution or at least the reason why a RFQ satisfies demand for Material but not Subcontract, it would be greatly appreciated!
