I don't plan on doing it often, but I know in the past when I've done upgrades users complain about needing to wait for a few minutes. They'll just have to deal with it.

Even if it downloads the whole entire client, in a local LAN it takes just a minute or two. Do you plan on doing this often?

I guess the question is how often, how much and what sort of network connectivity do you have. This scenario works for us, but then again our custom folder only has 22mb of files in it, you could halve that due to the copies. I recall it only copies over the newer files only if I recall correctly.
