Start Epicor without Autoupdate

Hi all,


We know that, passing -skip as a parameter in Epicor shortcut icon, will start Epicor without checking for new updates.


I would like to mention this parameter in the default.mfgsys file (or anyother file), to avoid the autoupdate check.


i checked the default.mfgsys file, i could not find a suitable parameter for this.


any idea folks?

Add /Skip to the shortcut.

thanks for your kind reply.  

i m looking for a way to add the parameter at "default.mfgsys"  file or anyother file located in Epicor folder. 

Basically, we have 50-60 computers. time consuming to go each computer and update the shortcut. 

instead,using a bespoke software - replace all computer default.mfgsys file with new deafult.mfgsys file that contains -skip parameter.

You can push out the shortcut through GPO.
