Run script to insert multiple records into progress DB

Nothing wrong with an updateable dashboard in the Application, but my reading of this wasn’t about an updateable dashboard, it was about adding data completely outside the application and directly in SQL or Progress.

Just add onto this,

You will also void your warranty and Epicor Support if you do this on a SQL DB as well.

You don't want to do it like that.  Not because this db is Progress, but because there are a bazillion other factors to consider when doing an import on a relational db.  Technically, yes,  you can do it like you can in SQL.  But you will void your warranty and Epicor Support will gladly not assist you until you provide them with your Corporate credit card number.

I can not seem to find any information about scripting for progress databases.  I just need to add multiple records and would not like to enter them in one by one.  There has to be a way to run multiple insert statements like SQL.  Any help would be appreciated.

Oh boy... I think we need to have an automated response for these in pace.

Can it be done? Yes
But you should never, ever in a billion years do this. It violates your service agreement and guarantee , epicor will frown and even cry a little when (not if) you blow up your DB. The Business Logic is there for a reason please use DMT to load several records at a time. I understand its tempting but its not worth the risk.
