We upgraded to Vantage 5.2 the weekend of 11/23, and have been able to use Windows 95b workstations. To make it work we did the following:
1. Loaded the Winsock update from Microsoft (W95ws2setup.exe)
2. Upgraded to the latest IE for Windows 95 (5.5)
3. Installed all the updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com
4. Copied “msvcp60.dll” from the vantage\db dir to local windows\system dir. This fixes the “File dll/crpe32.dll not found” error we got when trying to run a crystal report on a Windows 95 workstation.
We have had no problems since.
