Saving Packer Ship To info (Ver 8.03)

I think you'll have to customize to handle OTS in V8.

E9 has One Time Ship (OTS) fields in the order, ship and invoice tables.

I was asked to make a report for a list of all the zip codes of the shipments we've made for a particular product, but come to realize that only the ShipToNum is saved for each Packer.

The problem is that our products are typically shipped to a construction site (and may even be addressed to a third party contractor), and don't have "static" ship to info for a particular customer. So the folks that do Order Entry decided they would just change the lone Ship To for the customer. Some customers have a "yard" that they may have shipments sent to, so those custs have multiple ship to entries.

1. The first red flag that jumped out at me is that if a Cust's 'Ship To' is changed between the time the order is entered and the packer is created, the ship to won't match, and the order would get shipped to the changed address. Is this the case?

2. Is the Ship To info (Name, Address, city, state & zip) saved anywhere for each Packer? If not has anyone made a customization to save that info when the packer becomes "shipped"?

3. Does anyone have method for managing customers with non-static ship to info?

Does 8.03 support one time ship addresses? If you use these, a
different address can be entered for each order, and it is saved with
the sales order/packing slip (not in the customer shipto table).
