Trying to figure out how to scrap material due to no fault of supplier. In the production process we have material that needs scrapped. Our QA enters a DMR to scrap but the material never comes off stock? What do I need to do to scrap material and take out of stock?
We handle it by moving the material to a non-nettable location, which then removes it from planning. It will show in inventory reports, but not in Time-Phase.
did you do a non-conformance of the material first? It should have taken tit out of inventory.
Are you talking about inspection?
First create a non conformance from the inventory, that will take it out of inventory. Then fail it in inspection processing and again in DMR.
