Service Connect Workflow for Inventory Transfer

Patrick,

I put one together for inventory transfers a few years ago, it was only a few steps long if your data is already validated coming in. Without error checking, you can do it in two calls – GetTransferRecord and CommitTransfer. If you need to validate some of the data coming in, you’ll need to add some additional calls to “OnChangeFromBin”, “OnChangePartNum”, etc. Regardless, 55 steps seems like overkill on overkill.

Anyone ever created one for that purpose? I'm working on my first workflow to perform exactly this and I'm picking up the shrapnel of my brain after seeing the xml trace file it imported. It's 55 steps long as it is now, just not sure if this is full of noise of whether this is accurate.

Just throwing this out there in the event someone's tackled this already and could throw me a bone for starting off with.
