Just wondering what the process is to get the Menu/Dashboard to reflect the changes to source BAQ is. I seem to have to delete the query from the dashboard for any changes to show e.g. adding new fields.

Hi Matt! Instead of deleting the query, right click on it from the left tree view, and open Properties. That’ll allow you to select the new fields to be added to the dashboard.
If it is a deployed dashboard, then it needs to be re-deployed. If it is a run-time dashboard, it is automatic - as long as the DB wasn’t open while the BAQ changes were made.
If your issue is that fields added to the BAQ don’t show in the dashboard, that is because any changes to the BAQ aren’t automatically reflected in the UI. If you look at the properties of the list view, you’ll see the new fields, but they will have their Visible attribute unchecked.
Many thanks Calvin. I am using a run-time dashboard. Not visible was the issue. Two new fields I’ve just added were not checked:
Hey guys!
I have done all this, new fields are visible, but when I preview the dashboard in the Deploy Dashboard screen, the new fields are not there. Does anybody have an idea of what could be causing this?
Are you on Kinetic or is this Classic?
Reason I ask is because when I was on Kinetic (with another company) middle of last year, I had this issue with a few price fields from the OrderDtl table that wouldn’t show up when added to a dataview. Ended up opening a case with Epicor, but left before it was resolved.
