Brian,
It could be as simple as he has not clocked out in a while.
What does the Clocked In Date: box say?

I think you're onto something. There are 105 that come back after a
rather long search (2-3mins) with payroll dates mostly in 2009. I don't
yet understand much about the labor side of Vantage (but I have to get
up to speed quickly as we're going to be implementing time and
attendance, WO quantity and labor capture at this site in the coming
weeks).
I thought there was a database conversion that dealt with orphaned
labordtl records or something like that but I didn't see it in the list
of conversions.
The most recent Payroll Date is 1/18/2010 and it has 869 detail
records. It is posted. The rest of the 104 are not posted.
Are there any good detailed docs that walk someone through how to
effectively use MES and the intended processes, required setup, etc.?

Check his labor detail to see if he/she is working under a very old
payroll date (different field than clock in or out date) & is dragging
along a massive queue of records when logging into MES.

Subj:[Vantage] Slow MES for One User
I have one user for whom interacting with the MES client is incredibly
slow (logon takes several minutes, start production activity takes a
minute or two, etc.0. He logs on via Citrix, as do other users at the
site. Another user on the same client PC has no problems, and the same
user on any client PC has the same problem. We initially tried deleting
his Citrix profile but that didn't solve anything. I also tried logging
him on under a different Windows account to no avail.
I spent some time this AM eliminating variables, and it turns out to
be the Shop Employee account that is the trigger. If he logs on with
his employee ID the behavior happens. If I create a new Shop Employee
account with the same settings but a different ID, he's fine.
Apparently this has been the case since his account was created.
I tried deleting the MES personalizations he had for his account but
that didn't work.
I can't delete the Shop Employee account because it is referenced by
LaborHed transactions.
I'm wondering if the slow MES times have something to do with lots of
Labor transactions that aren't closed or something like that. We're not
properly using MES out at this site yet.
