Attached is a rough report that gives a weighted aging factor. Older
parts have a heavier weighting. I tried using last stock transaction
and found that if we sold one last week the other fifty in sock
became current.
The report is still being developed so it doesn't hanlde negative
quantities and quantity adjustments. The basic idea is to use
future/present value formulas as if the parts are accuring interest
and divide by the real amount. Spot checks indicate it is accurate.
For the list. I tried to post this in the file area and could not
access it. I can email it off list if you're interested.
