SQL Table Clean Up

Oh ok.  I was afraid it was that slow.  Mine takes for ever to pull up the activities.  I have it running on another laptop and have it deleting them right now.  I have dropped from 91GB to 89GB, so making some progress.

Do you know if those changes will automatically take affect on SQL or do I have to run a script to recalculate the size?

Hey guys,

My database is growing so large and I need to make some room on my SQL Database server.  I noticed that my Service Connect database is almost 100GB alone.  I looked at what is taking up the most space on the Service Connect database and it seems to be ScaTrace at around 90GB.  I am not a SQL guy, so I don't know how I would shrink that table in the Service Connect Database in SQL.  Can someone help me?

Have you cleaned up your Document Tracking and Events in your admin console?   We have had ours installed on SQL Express, and have never had it go over the 4GB limit.  We do about 300-700 service connect imports a day, average
No, do you think if I just delete the document tracking it will free up a bunch of space?
I do.   A long time ago, I left my document tracking unchecked, and it did fill up my database past that 4 GB threshold.  After I deleted all of the activities under "All Activities" my DB was fine.   Give it a go, and let us know how it went. :)

What is the easiest way to delete them?  Do I have to go to All Activities and select Completed Activities and let all the activities pull up?
I clicked the All Activities node and right clicked to delete all activities.  Is that the best and only way to delete the activities?
That is how I do it.  You can just highlight the items and then hit the 'Delete' key as well.  I do this daily.
Yes, you will have to select the completed ones and delete them.  I know the logs under Events only allows you to select 1000 records at a time.  If that is true for the activities, you may be busy a while.  :)
