Not true. MRP (by default) is Plant based unless you specifically over-ride each part to planned at the warehouse level (or junk MRP entirely and use either Warehouse/Primary-Bin or general Bin based kan-bans).

March/April of 2008. We have a single plant environment with multiple
warehouses, each at a different address and each with stockrooms for
standard MRP type parts. Each of our "warehouses" is a manufacturing
facility. The same part is stocked at each warehouse and each warehouse
is set with a different min level based upon use.
When MRP runs it only sees the part and it's demand at the "default"
warehouse and only provides suggestions to order for that warehouse. I
have no visibility to any of the other warehouses potential stock outs.
We have functionality in our exiting ERP system that gives us advice for
each of the warehouses for the scenario outlined above. Any one have a
work around or request for an enhancement to Epicor?
