MRP and PO Suggestions issue - multiple warehouses

Hi Mike,
We experienced the exact same issue with the multiple warehouses and
we are running V8.00.809D. We originally thought that it must have
been a bug but were told by Epicor that this is the way it is meant
to be.
To overcome this problem, we generated different part numbers for
these other warehouse parts.

The reason for it is that MRP looks at the overall plant stock and
not warehouse by warehouse.

Hello,

We are running Vantage at the 6.10.541 level.

We are currently experiencing a problem with the way we are running
MRP and PO suggestions. We have multiple warehouses set up under a
single plant. A number of stock components are stored at each
location. We would like the stock level of each warehouse to be
considered independently when we run MRP and PO suggestions.

When we run these functions under our current configuration, we
receive no suggestions for any of our warehouses if the stock levels
at either location exceeds the minimum quantity we have established
for the part in the primary warehouse. Our intent was to have these
minimum quantities be considered independently by warehouse. Are any
of you currently able to accomplish warehouse level MRP and PO
suggestions? Is this something that can only be independent at the
plant level and plants need set up accordingly? Would we need to
create different part numbers within the warehouses in order to make
this an independent function within a single plant? Any input would
be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
