Kathy,
That wasn't my experience. I tested Inventory Transfer and Customer Shipment, and neither one let me pull to a bin-level negative.

Example I had 1 of part ABC in Bin 1 and 5 of part ABC in Bin 2. Total Warehouse total is 6.
I had a sales order for 3. I tried to Ship from Bin 1, and it would not let me.

Did you mean something else?

Thank you,

Part class settings can be used to restrict net negative on hand
inventory,

but if you have multiple bins or lots, it will still allow any of these
to be driven

negative as long as the total on hand is greater than or equal to zero.

How do you prevent system from letting you leave a bin at a negative
quantity?
Like in issue material, inventory transfer, customer shipment, etc.

Thank you,

Thank you,
In Part Class Maintenance there is a "Negative Quantity Action", and you
can choose Stop, Warn, or None.
