You'll have to update your ports in the System Agent before starting
the Process or Task appServers.

Not for 9.

Does the training database have to be called MFGSYS the same as the live database?

Thanks

Juliet
I heard there was a training database on Vantage 6.10. How do you get
to it and use it?
It is a option to install when you install the regular database.

Is the password for the training database different for the regular
vantage? Is there a temp password?

On mine there isn't a different password that I use. I sign on just like I
do if it was live.

I have been trying to install the Training Database from Epicor with no success.

I have entered all the serial codes, ran some conversion files, but nothing seems to be working.

What is happening is that i can log in, but there are files in the tree for me to open. No setup files, no General Operation files, and no report files.

Has anyone run into this? and what did you do to fix it?

Your help is greatly appriciated.
Rick Hagy
It's usually a licensing issue. Make sure you entered your serial number and
all your codes, make sure the serial number is assigned to the right
company, etc.

This sounds like you have NOT enabled the modules in the Admin Console.
