Got it. I was using the revision tab on Part maintenance and not the Part
Tracker. Wow. Would you call that a Contortion Sensitive help menu or what?

We were on 805 and waited until we heard some positive feedback on 806.
Someone had mentioned that e was more or less stable but when we got around to

Our launch date is 6/1, so we are not as sensitive to updates but as we get
closer...

Yup,

If you right click in Part Number box you can bring it up there
or you can find it in Job Management Menu.

Right-Click on the Part Number in the Part Tracker and select the item
from the drop down menu. It got buried in the 8.00.806 release.

Extra Credit: How do you get to the Method Tracker?

Go to the Revision Tab and double-click in the revision column. It will
turn white and appear to be editable -- That is your clue that you can
right-click in this field and use the "Method Tracker" menu item. I
understand that this will be corrected (a button will be added...) in a
future release.

Goofy, eh?

Hi Ben,
Depending on which patch you are on it could be in a different spot. We
are 806e. Prior to it was in the part tracker on the plants tab. On
this tab there was a Transaction history button.

In version 806e you bring up the part tracker, enter your part, then
right click in the part field to bring up the Part Transaction history
window, then click on the retrieve button.

I have an e-mail into support to let us know where these type of changes
are documented so when we install the patch, we know these changes take
place. It has been a week and I have not had a response. I will post
when I find out.

Discovering what happened to the Method Tracker was 10 minutes on the
Vantage Tech Support...Talk about obscure -- There is close to NO way I
would have ever have been able to find that by "just clicking around."
