Disclaimer, we have very little practical experience with the Fixed Assets Module. We had someone come in to help set it up and walk through the basics of how to added and depreciate an asset.
We have two assets we setup a couple months ago and some depreciation has already been posted for them. These are currently setup in Company A. We had to physically relocate these assets into another location which is represented as Company B in Epicor.
Is there a way to transfer those assets from Company A to Company B without losing what has already depreciated in Company A and will only depreciate the current book value in Company B? To be clear, I’m wondering if there is a way to do this without recreating the asset in Company B and inactivating it in Company A.
