SUBSTRING(JobNum, LENGTH(JobNum), 1)

Hi group,
Maybe someone out there can tell me how to truncate a job number except for
the right most character. Our job numbers start and end with a alpha
character with numbers in between and can be different lengths. We have a
field where we enter a jobcode character, and that should match the right
most character of the job number, this is not always the case, as errors are
made in entering info. I want to create a report that will compare the
jobcode w/the right most character in the job number and correct these
entries before the jobs get closed.
