Two Companies and Rerport Builder

Finally it worked.

For the join of OrderRel to PartBin, I didn't join Company. Then I
double checked that the Part and the Release in the

Consignment had the Finished Goods Warehouse as default. The report is
printing the releases from the Consignment Company

and Inventory from the Production Company.

Thank you Todd, and Calvin for your input.

Specify which company for which table in the filter. All RB reports
should ALWAYS have as the first filter item a company filter on the
master table for the report. In this case you may (depending on the
table) need to specify an OR on two filters...or perhaps...one company
for one table and a second filter on a joined table where the company
join is forced to a static value. Usually all joins should also start
with a the company (such as Part.Company ----> PartBin.Company....but
maybe in this case you would set a forumula field (like ProdComp =
"PROD" or whatever the company code is) and then link to PartBin
as.....ProdComp ----> PartBin.Company. Then in the filter be sure to
include the correct company for each relevant table.

There might be another route via just not having a company join if you
have only two companies (those taking both) but without it performance
might suffer very badly due to losing the ability to access via indexes.

We have a second Company to handle consignment shipments to our
customers. I have a Report Builder report that prints the schedule
shipments from the consignment company.

Is there a way that we could pull the inventory amount from the
production company? How can I specify that I want this
PartBin.OnHandQty to be pulled from the other company?

Is this even possible?

Thanks,
