We are doing a soft launch of the ERP for Go Live, sending sales people in to set up Orders and Quotes that are dated out a month or more. During the transition, we want to make sure users know when they are in the LIVE database vs. our Implementation (test/third) database. We were advised by support to use Company Maintenance/UI Options/Company Color. This worked for the two users initially in during early set up. Both of us had messed with the setting as my early attempts created a rather obnoxious interface.
Now when non-admin or other admin users log in, they get the default color. The information bar at the upper right with URL, username, Language, Company has the appropriate color background, but all other colors are default.
I believe that theming needs to be turned on per-user from my testing.
I wrote a BPM to check that it’s enabled per-user on each login, and enable it if not. I’ve tested this up to 2025.2.10 in Non-Prod.
I did not test this in a production environment, so am linking it only for the concept, as it is a BPM that sits on Login any bad code here might cause the system to prevent users from logging in. (I also posted a method to save yourself from that scenario without support if you land there)
Wow! Thanks for not calling me an idiot and for all the quick responses. I feel the LOVE! I can confirm you are all correct. Now to see if I can set this for all users or not.
I know this feature is coming out of Preview in 26.1 but for 25.2 you’ll probably have to go with @GabeFranco’s BPM as we tried the Global Settings and it didn’t apply to uses.
