We have parts with part specific UOM conversion factors (like 1 EA = 120 IN). Recently we noticed, when creating a new revision for these parts, the UOM conversion factor resets (defaults) to 1.
We are on 10.2.300
Any ideas what might be causing this? There is a BPM on method Part.Update but the issue still happens with the BPM disabled.
So you have two UOMs EA and 120 IN and the factor is 1-1 or do you have two UOMs EA and IN and the factor is 1-120?
I created a UOM Class for testing with two parts in it EA and IN and a UOM conversion factor of 120 for the IN UOM
Duplicated a part with revisions, removed the revisions, changed the UOM class to the new class, then added a revision back and the UOM conversions stayed unchanged, even after adding a second revision.
Tried updating and approving the revision and no change.
Are you using track multiple UOMs and part specific UOM, and that made no difference.
@Hally - there are two UOMs EA and IN and the factor is 1-120. The problem occurs when it is a part specific UOM (not a UOM class conversion), the factor is set on the part rev, then a new part rev is added.
