"urgent" - Delete GL account from once-global chart of account

We are setting up global chart of accounts, nothing has been posted to either side yet. Had it on the wrong Send Segments and GL accounts rather than just Send Segments. Went to delete the GL accounts not needed / wanted on the child and getting this error.

Cannot Delete. GL Account ######|###|### is Global Record. Please remove global status in the parent Company and try again.

I’ve removed global status on the parent company, and reran the multi-company direct process just to be sure. It’s no longer flagged global on the child company either but still getting this message. Any way to delete this at this stage?

Figured it out. Have to keep it set to Send Segments and GL Accounts. Delete it from the master global record. Then run Multi-Company Direct Server Process. Then delete it from the child company. We are fairly sure we will get stuck with an equity account that can’t be deleted but we can just inactive it and be okay.
