We already have the license, and it is just sitting there unused, so I was wondering what other use cases has anyone found for Dynamic Documents besides Job Operations. I am planning on setting up a paperless environment for the business, and the dynamic documents looks like it would be perfect.
We currently do a LOT of handwriting on paper documents such as RFQs, so I thought that making PDFs with enterable fields would be great.
This is just my humble opinion. If you’re a document driven company, this will help you maintain that paradigm and optimize your forms. If you want to transform your process, then documents are not the way to do that. The data is still stored in an unstructured manner. It is difficult to do analysis on it or use it for AI purposes in the future. Dynamic Documents are an optimization but are not transformative. I like how Jeff Winter puts it:
