We are running 2023.1.9 Quick Ship. I’m running into an issue where sometimes the USMCA form prints blank for Canadian bound shipments. Can anyone advise how I might troubleshoot it? Is there an instance where the USMCA is not needed and maybe that’s the issue? I’m not even sure where to begin.
It could be related the country of origin on the part that is needed. I know we get a blank when the country of origin in not the USA for the product being shipped out.
Very interesting. So we’re in the middle of adjusting a bunch of stuff due to the tariff changes. We definitely made changes to a bunch of Country of Origins. Does the entire form blank out? I would’ve thought the exporter/importer information would’ve been in place but even that was blank.
We had historically used USA for most everything but since this tariff change, we’ve been using the field to identify where we are sourcing the component from - rather than use USA. I wonder if this is the issue. I’ll try to test. Thanks for the tip.
QS also stores the Part (Product) data in it’s database in Setup-Products. They may need to be tweaked as I’m not sure the refresh schedule to changes to parts in Epicor.
Mr. Dan: Good morning from Vegas.
I’m not sure if you are inclined to try this - but quick ship uses Crystal Reports. I have found that you can open the USMCA in Crystal and then connect to the XML and sometimes Crystal will tell you what is missing.

Just so there’s some closure to this topic. I contacted EpicCare and the issue was that the USMCA form is only intended to be used when the COO is USA, Mexico, or Canada (hence US - M - CA).
For anything else, we had to get a new form known as CertOfOriginAllCountries
